For the line of products based on Blueberry and Berries we have chosen Azienda Agricola i Rodi, a family-run business located in Fanano on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, surrounded by green meadows and chestnut woods; the company philosophy is based on organic farming and a complete production cycle that includes separate waste collection, energy saving and photovoltaic systems, to ensure total respect for the environment. After the cultivation of blackberries, red currants, black currants, strawberries, raspberries and the subsequent harvest (to which we add the bilberry, not cultivated but wild), we move on to the transformation in a small artisan laboratory also located near the company: it is one of the few companies that can certify blueberry-based products from the Modenese Apennines with the mark of the Modena Chamber of Commerce, to ensure the origin and high quality of the fruit.

Delicate compote, certified organic, created on the Modenese Apennines in the Sestola and Fanano areas, transforming exclusively strawberries grown and harvested in the mountain area and adding a small amount of pectin and organic grape juice as a natural sweetener, without any trace of added or artificial sugars! It has a fairly light red color, a slightly dense consistency, with an intense, very fragrant aroma and a sweet and delicate flavor, typical of fresh strawberries.

We recommend using it as a sweet filling for soft and artisanal bread or Piadina Romagnola Igp; also perfect as a filling for pies and cakes or in combination with Squacquerone di Romagna Dop and Ricotta di Montagna as soft cheeses and Parmigiano Reggiano Dop 18-24 months as medium-aged cheeses. As it does not contain added sugars, it is suitable for people who follow low-calorie diets or with sugar intolerances.
